The aim of the Home is to ensure the maximum possible individual care and attention for all of the residents of the home.
Tommy and Anne Feeney, the proprietors of Ave Maria would like to welcome you to their family run nursing home. They reside on the grounds of the nursing home along with their son Kenny and daughter Sarah, who are often participating in the busy life at Ave Maria.
With the whole family involved they constantly endeavour to assist the residents to reach and maintain their greatest practicable level of physical, mental, spiritual and social wellbeing. Tommy and Anne, together with the excellent staff, provide quality care, recreation and the finer things in life for all their residents in their home away from home.
Our Team
Staff at Ave Maria are highly experienced and specially trained in taking care of the elderly. You will find them to be kind, caring and very friendly. Everything possible will be done by them to ensure the stay here is most comfortable and enjoyable. Our staff will adopt the residents within the “Ave Maria Family”.
Staff Arrangements
The number and skill mix of staff on duty is determined and provided according to a transparently applied assessment tool, to plan and meet the needs of the residents. This is subject to a regular review by the Person in Charge.
The Person in Charge will ensure that the skill mix and qualifications of all the staff are at all times appropriate. At all times staff are supervised by a registered nurse.
Staffing levels will be determined by the assessed needs of the resident. A staff rota showing staff on duty at all times is compiled weekly.
The Aim of the House
The aim of the Home is to ensure the maximum possible individual care and attention for all of the residents of the home.
We acknowledge that problems will occur, that errors will be made and that complaints will be received. Through consultation and engagement with residents and their families our aim is to continuously improve our service and respect the rights of those in our care.
